Odum Research builds highly tuned pricing, risk and execution strategies at low latency to facilitate the capture of financial market inefficiencies. These systems can be deployed onto derivatives and spot markets. Our strategies are fully automated and market neutral. We combine market making with predictive systems for both pure and statistical arbitrage. Our current focus is crypto, yet our ambitions extend far beyond.
Our commitment to innovation remains unwavering, as we are poised to elevate the capacity and sophistication of our simulations and prediction models. This endeavour is underpinned by the impressive revenue generated internally through the dynamic synergy between our seasoned traders and adept engineers.
Our name Odum has two meanings. The first is the Igbo Meaning. Igbo is one of the Nigeria dialects where Odum means “lion”. The symbolism to our bravery, our strength of product and our ambitions to be leaders of the pack. The second is a Ghanaian translation which is “tree”. This captures our mantra at Odum Research that smart technology needs to be “deep rooted” in innovation. The branches capture the facilitation of diversification of strategies running in one common rooted framework. Finally, as with any systems deployed into financial markets, there is an ultimate desire to bear fruit.

IKENNA IGBOAKA, CEO & FOUNDER
10+ years in derivatives building trading strategies and managing teams at leading houses of IMC and Mako. Pricing specialist. Driven by his broad exposure to the discipline, he prides himself on taking a holistic approach to trading whilst educating and facilitating traders to do the same.
ROBERT OSBORNE, CFO
Rob is a highly experienced business adviser with over 20 years of experience in government, accounting, asset management, venture capital and advising, He has incubated, run and led businesses through transactions. He is a UK Chartered Tax Adviser who understands the needs of founders and management teams.

Highly experienced software developer with 1st class degree in computer science, combined with 10+ years' experience at the largest offshore oil services company globally and financial expertise developed at Mako. Jack is a strong believer and applier of modern software engineering practises to trading.

BALAZS HORVATH, SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Balazs worked in Game and AR app development for years before he switched to full-stack development and DevOps. He has experience writing code in many programming languages, working with and managing tools like Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, and Argocd.shore oil services company globally and financial expertise developed at Mako.
SEBASTJAN ZIPF, SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Sebastián is a data scientist and software developer at ICESI University. He has skills in Python, Java, SQL, machine learning, and web development. He has completed several online courses and certifications in data science and deep learning. He has a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from ICESI University.
TIMOTHY CROWE, QUANT TRADER (ODUM GROUP)
Tim worked at SIG and IMC, leading European market makers. He's skilled in data science, derivatives trading, and actuarial science, holding certificates in Quantitative Finance and Data Science from Le Wagon. He earned a master’s in actuarial science from University College Dublin and a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Birmingham.

Bianca has 9+ years of General and Area Management working in high end retail overseeing daily operations of multiple establishments, setting operational policies, and managing employees of numerous large teams across London.
